Counselling

Counselling services are available online as well as in person in Sylvan Lake for adults (18+), youth (10+), and families. Many insurance plans cover counselling, and I offer direct billing to several providers. If you’re wondering whether counselling with me might be a good fit, I’d be happy to connect.

  • Counselling

Counselling is a therapeutic process that supports emotional healing, self-awareness, and resilience. It offers a grounded, compassionate space to explore your inner world, work through difficult experiences, and develop insight and practical skills for well-being. Counselling can support people experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health concerns in a confidential, supportive environment.

    I support clients experiencing:

    • Anxiety and depression

    • Trauma and the effects of difficult life experiences

    • Self-worth challenges, shame, and inner criticism

    • Life transitions, identity shifts, and grief

    • Neurodivergence (including ADHD-related challenges)

    • Compassion fatigue and burnout

My approach is person-centred and integrative, drawing from:

    • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

    • Internal Family Systems (IFS-informed)

    • Mindfulness-based practices

    • Expressive arts approaches

    • Spiritually integrated therapy (when welcomed by the client)
